The next step is to contact our expert team of wedding coordinators who are ready and waiting to answer any questions you may have and guide you through all the options available to you, from your dream destinations to the ship best suited to your needs.

Once your chosen trip, ceremony date and time have been confirmed, we’ll ask you for a 25% deposit to secure the booking. To make sure you get the day you want, we ask for a minimum of three months’ notice to organise a Wedding at Sea and two weeks’ notice for a Renewal of Vows.

We have a long list of additional extras that your pre-cruise wedding coordinator will run through with you. They’ll be able to recommend the ideal choices to create your perfect day. So that we know exactly what you want, we’ll send you a ceremony planning form four months prior to your date. This is where you can let us know all the optional extras you’ve chosen – you can find out more about everything that’s available here . If you book your ceremony later than the four-month mark, we'll get your form sent over right away. From there, our wedding coordinators will work their magic and make your dreams a reality.

When you book a Wedding at Sea, you’ll also receive your Notice of Intended Marriage legal documentation approximately four months prior to your cruise. If you book your ceremony later than the four-month mark, we'll get your documentation sent over right away. It’s vital you complete and return this within 14 days to make sure that the marriage licence is granted and received by the ship in time. If you or your partner are divorced or widowed, we’ll need a copy of the final divorce decree or death certificate. If you’ve changed your name, we’ll need a copy of the deed poll. These documents have to be in English or otherwise translated into English by an approved translator before we can complete the legal formalities. Then, once we’ve taken final payment for the balance and extra touches, we’ll obtain the required marriage licence on your behalf.

Wedding party benefits are applicable for parties of 16+ Passengers, booked across a minimum of 8 cabins. Bookings must be made under the 'Select Fare' or 'Early Saver' -

For cruises of 7-11 nights in duration...

• Passengers 1&2 will receive £25pp onboard credit.

• The bride and Groom will receive £50pp onboard credit.

• This is in addition to any onboard credit given at the time of booking.

For cruises of 12+ Nights in duration...

• Passengers 1&2 will receive £50pp onboard credit.

• The bride and Groom will receive £100pp onboard credit.

• This is in addition to any onboard credit given at the time of booking.

1 free cabin for every 20 cabins booked, maximum of 3 free cabins per group. Cheapest cabin refunded at time of sailing.

· All bookings can be made up until the date of sailing (Except Bride & Groom as official paperwork needs to be completed prior to the wedding).

· A minimum of 16 heads ( lower berths only)

· Combinable with P&O Select Fare and Early Saver only

· Minimum numbers and benefits are applicable to passengers travelling in lower berths only

· Benefits will only apply when minimum numbers have been reached

The day of your cruise has finally arrived! Once you get on board, your ceremony coordinator will arrange to meet with you to go over the details of your ceremony plan and make sure everything runs smoothly. They’ll also be able to make any last-minute changes to create a magical day to remember.
