How you'll receive your booking confirmation

There are a few ways you might receive your booking confirmation, depending on how you made your booking:

  • Online: if you’ve booked your holiday directly on our website, you'll receive your confirmation via email. This email will typically arrive within 24 hours of your booking.
  • Over the phone: if you’ve booked your holiday over the phone with one of our friendly advisors, they will typically email you the confirmation within 24 hours.
  • Through a travel agent: if you used a travel agent to book your cruise, they will send you confirmation directly. However, it's always a good idea to double-check with them to ensure you receive it.

Finding your booking confirmation email

  • Check your inbox: look out for an email from P&O Cruises with the subject line ‘Booking Confirmation Ref *reference number*’. It may also include your cruise name.
  • Search by reference: using the search function in your email inbox, search for your booking reference number. This number will be given to you at the time of booking; we recommend noting this down.
  • Check spam folder: emails can sometimes be mistakenly filtered into your spam folder. Do a quick search there using your booking reference or ‘P&O Cruises’ in the sender field.

Double-checking your email address

It's important to ensure you entered your email address correctly when booking your cruise holiday. A typo could be the reason you haven't received your confirmation. If you're unsure, log in to My P&O Cruises here or via the ‘Manage my booking’ section on the P&O Cruises website using your booking reference, which will be given to you at the time of booking, and you’ll be able to find your email address under the ‘Personal details’ section of the ‘Before you sail’ page.

If your email address is incorrect, you’ll be able to make amends within My P&O Cruises. However, you may need to call our Customer Contact Centre on 0344 338 8003 to receive a replacement booking confirmation. 

If you booked through a travel agent, please contact them directly.

My P&O Cruises - your booking details on hand

Even if you haven't located your confirmation email yet, you can still access most of your booking details through My P&O Cruises as long as you have your booking reference number to hand. Here you'll find information such as:

  • Departure date
  • Ship name
  • Cruise duration
  • Booking reference number
  • Guest names listed on the booking
  • Cabin type

To access My P&O Cruises, simply click here or visit the P&O Cruises website and click on the ‘Manage my Booking’ option at the top of the page and selecting My P&O Cruises. You'll need your booking reference number (this will be given to you at the time of booking, we recommend noting this down!), first and last name, and date of birth to log in.

Can't find your confirmation? No problem!

If you've checked your inbox and spam folder and ensured your email address is correct via My P&O Cruises, but still can't locate your confirmation, don't worry! Here's what to do:

  • Contact us: Our friendly Customer Contact Centre is happy to help. Call us on 0344 338 8003 and ask to resend your confirmation, or submit an email via our form on our Contact us page.
  • Bookings made via a travel agent: Please contact them directly.
