Are flights included in the cost of my cruise?

If you want to book a fly-cruise with P&O Cruises, unless stated otherwise, economy-class flights from/to the UK are included in the price of your holiday. The inclusive airport varies by cruise and departure date; you can find the latest prices and availability online, via your travel agent or by contacting us.

If you’re flying on the day of embarkation/disembarkation, transfers to and from the ship will also be provided and included in the price of your holiday, unless stated otherwise. For more information about airport coach transfers, click here.

Please note that unless otherwise stated, flight costs also apply to infants. Full details will be provided at the time of booking.

Can I upgrade my flight?

When you book a fly-cruise holiday with us, you can manage your flights to tailor them to your needs, including the option to upgrade depending on your airline and the length of your flight.

Usually on short-haul flights all guests are automatically allocated Economy class seats with the option to upgrade being unavailable.

On Caribbean fly-cruises, you have the option to upgrade your flights at the time your cruise goes on sale by calling our Customer Contact Centre. You can choose to secure your preferred seats from approximately 14 weeks before departure via the Flight Seat Booker tool. To do this, an additional charge will apply. Please note that this additional charge is irrespective of your flight cabin grade. 

You will be notified by email when you are able to purchase your seats. If you choose not to purchase your seats, these will automatically be allocated for you. 

For World Cruise sector flights you can upgrade to Premium Economy, Business or First Class on a range of airlines. The benefits of upgrading vary by airline, so we recommend you refer directly to the airline's website. We can provide a quote for upgrades with other airlines or our other fly-cruises from approximately 11 months before departure once airlines release their flight schedules.

Do you accept frequent flyer numbers and Avios points? 

We can add your airline frequent flyer numbers to your airline booking, but you must contact Avios directly to advise them of your flight details.

While most of our airline agreements allow you to accumulate frequent flyer points, they typically do not permit the use of additional incentives, vouchers or discounts towards your flight, including seat upgrades. We recommend contacting your airline to confirm your flight is eligible for frequent flyer points.

Some airlines will allow you to upgrade your flight booked with us using frequent flyer points.  

Please get in touch with your airline to determine if your flight qualifies for an upgrade using frequent flyer points.
