- Pay the deposit when making a booking, then pay in equal installments on a monthly basis.
- Pay the deposit when making a booking then pay the remaining balance manually on the due date, by logging into the balance payment page and inputting your details.
- Pay the deposit when making a booking, then the remaining balance will automatically be taken from your bank account on the due date.
- Pay the deposit when making a booking, then pay the remaining balance manually at any time leading up to your due date, 90 days before departure (partial payments).
Pay on a monthly payment plan
For flexibility, we offer our Pay Monthly scheme where we give you the option of paying for your cruise in equal monthly instalments to spread the cost of your holiday.
You’ll be given the option to choose the day of the month each payment will be taken on, as well as a breakdown on the monthly cost. Simply click ‘View/edit payment plan’ on the page shown above.
For example:
There are a few requirements of the Pay Monthly scheme:
- You must have made the booking directly with P&O Cruises either through our website or via the Customer Contact Centre.
- You must have paid a deposit on the booking made directly with P&O Cruises
- You must have at least one monthly payment scheduled prior to the balance due date (90 days before departure)
- The payment card must not expire before the balance due date

Partial payments
Want to maximise your flexibility? You can make partial payments online at any point before your due date (90 days before your departure date).
If you’re making a booking through our website and would like the option to make partial payments, you’ll need to select to pay the deposit and then choose either of the highlighted options below.
Simply log in to the balance payment page and choose the payment amount. Your remaining balance will be prominently displayed on the page, and you’ll be able to pay your chosen amount, up to the full balance.
You’ll be advised when your payment is successful, and the remaining balance will be updated.

Additional information:
Accepted payment methods
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Diners Club International cards for pre-cruise payments. Unfortunately, we cannot accept Solo, Maestro, JCB, or prepaid cards at this time.
Using two different cards
You can use a different card to make a payment towards your holiday than the one you used for your deposit.
Using a credit card
You’ll not be charged a credit card fee on payment transactions.
On-board payments
How to settle your on-board account:
At the end of your cruise, your on-board account will automatically be charged to the card registered to your cabin. If you prefer a different payment method, please visit Reception before disembarkation.
Charged twice for on-board spending?
Each day whilst on board we will pre-authorise your card for your on-board spending. This gives you the peace of mind that you have the funds available on your chosen card to pay for all the great things you can enjoy during your holiday. Your final payment will then be taken on your disembarkation day.
Please note: the exact length of time in which your pre-authorisations are held may vary and could be up to 14 or 30 days, depending on which bank you use. Please contact your bank if you have any concerns or if the funds haven't been released by then. If the issue persists beyond the 30 day hold period, our Customer Contact Centre is ready to assist you.
Multiple passengers, multiple cards
Each adult passenger in a cabin can register their own payment card for on-board spending. You can do this during the online check-in process or at Reception once on board.
We recommend registering your on-board payment card during the online check in process, to avoid the queues at reception during embarkation. |
Enjoy your P&O Cruises holiday, we can’t wait to welcome you on board.
