What is an on-board account statement?

Your on-board account statement is a detailed record of all your on-board spending during your cruise holiday using your cruise card, which is linked to your registered payment credit or debit card.

On-board account

Last updated: 20/12/2024

What can I expect to see on the statement?

It shows what you’ve bought using your on-board account, such as:

  • Dining and drinks: speciality restaurant meals, room service and drinks from the bar
  • Spa: treatments, products and salon services
  • Shore experiences: experiences and activities ashore
  • Shopping: items from on-board ships
  • Other: laundry services, chargeable coach transfers, and anything else you buy using your cruise card while on-board our ships.

Please note: your on-board account statement doesn’t include anything you’ve bought via My P&O Cruises before your sailing ; these are charged at the time of booking.

Where do I find my on-board account statement?

A printout of your on-board account statement will be delivered to your cabin the night before disembarkation; it’ll be in the pigeonhole outside your cabin door. Please remember to look for this on your final morning before disembarking.

Please note: your on-board account statement isn’t an itemised list; it lists the venue and amount spent.

If you haven't received your on-board account statement by the time you're ready to disembark and would like to see a paper copy, please visit Reception. They’ll be happy to help you find your statement or give you a copy.

You can also see the charges made throughout your cruise via My Holiday or your in-cabin TV, under ‘On-board account’, up to the day you disembark.

We recommend keeping a copy of your on-board account statement for your own records; once you’ve disembarked, you’ll no longer have access to your on-board account via My Holiday.

When does my on-board account close?

You can still spend using your cruise card until you leave the ship, but any charges made after 2am on the day of disembarkation will show as a separate transaction on your credit/debit card statement. If you’re paying in cash, your account should be settled by 10pm the night before you disembark.

Is there anything I need to do to settle my on-board account?

As long as you’ve registered a payment card before the start of your cruise holiday, either by checking in online via My P&O Cruises or once you’re on board, there’s nothing you need to do. All charges will be applied automatically to your registered credit/debit card at the end of your holiday with us.

What can I do if I have a query about my statement?

For any concerns about your on-board account statement, please visit Reception before disembarking; they’ll be happy to answer your questions and help with any issues you may have.

If you have a question about your statement after you’ve disembarked, please get in touch with us by filling in our contact form or by calling 0344 338 8003 (call charges apply).
