Top things to do in the Caribbean

Unwind on the white sand beaches in Antigua

Antigua is made up of sparkling bays, beautiful beaches and colourful rows of buildings. Its magnificent coastline has 365 beaches, which are overlooked by historic forts and Shirley Heights, the place for famous 'jump up' parties in the south. From the tropical rainforest to the shops of St John's, Antigua oozes easy-going Caribbean spirit.

Snorkel with turtles in Curaçao

Visit paradise beaches and enjoy some of the Caribbean’s best snorkelling. Curaçao is undoubtedly a place of great natural beauty with its impressive caves, perfect beaches, sparkling blue waters and spectacular diversity of maritime life. The island also has a fantastic culinary and bar scene, with many spots where the sun and relaxed atmosphere can be enjoyed with delicious food and cocktails.

Make your own chocolate in Grenada

This black and white sand 'spice island' at the bottom of the Caribbean chain is truly a top destination. At the Tri-Island Chocolate Factory, make your own chocolate with pure Grenadian cocoa during a hands-on experience, or just buy some to take home.

Each unique island has its own wealth of charm
just beyond those perfect beaches.

Spend the day at a Nature Reserve in St Maarten

Spend the day at Lotorie Farm, a unique hideaway where you can wine, dine, climb, hike and glide over the treetop canopy on a zipwire. Shared by the French and Dutch, this dual island is seven by seven miles of pure sophistication. Playground of the rich and famous, it's also a hot spot for yacht racing and partying.

Indulge in Tortolan cuisine in the British Virgin Islands

Tortolan cuisine celebrates local seafood, skilfully blending age-old traditions with international flavours. The surrounding seas make for rich culinary offerings, and no visit to Tortola is complete without a taste of fungi and saltfish, a Virginian speciality. Tortola has all you'd expect in the colourful capital of the British Virgin Islands: stylish shopping and mouth-watering dining, all laid-back Caribbean-style.

Sip on a rum punch at Mount Gay Rum Distilleries, Barbados

As well as time spent on the stunning beaches of Barbados, there's an experience that many like to try. Discover how Mount Gay Rum is made here on its home island and savour the sweet, warm taste of Barbados.

There's plenty to do, whether you decide to explore ashore by yourself or pay a little extra for a shore experience.
