We have four Drinks Packages to choose from:
The Alcohol-free drinks package

Our Drinks Packages are available to purchase via three ways:
- You can purchase the packages at the time of booking. Book an applicable Select Price or Early Saver holiday of 5 nights or more departing before 28 March 2026 and receive a 10% discount off Classic drinks packages when purchased at time of booking.
- Book an applicable Select Price or Early Saver holiday of 5 nights or more departing before 28 March 2026 and receive a 10% discount off Classic drinks packages when purchased at time of booking.
- You can purchase the packages on My P&O Cruises immediately after booking your cruise and up to three days prior to departure, where you will receive 10% discount.
- Or you can purchase the packages on board during the first two days of your holiday. Please note, discounts do not apply to on board purchases.
If you have booked via a travel agent, you can also talk to them about purchasing a package via My P&O Cruises.
Yes, of course. You may use your on-board spending money towards your chosen Drinks Package by speaking to our Reception team once on board and during the first two days of your holiday.
Please note, if your Drinks Package of choice is more than your on-board spending amount, you will need to pay the extra amount.
No, if 2 or more guests aged over 18 years are sharing a cabin all guests must purchase the same Drinks Package. Sharing or transferring Drinks Packages is not allowed.
The same Drinks Package must be purchased by guests aged over 18 years sharing a cabin. However, children can have the Refresh Drinks Package independently of their parents and this can be purchased on board.
It’s entirely your choice. You may either purchase a Drinks Package, or buy drinks as you go using your on-board account. Also, if you decide that you’d like to buy a Drinks Package once on board, you can do this within the first 2 days of your cruise by speaking to our Reception team. It’s worth remembering that Drinks Packages can only be purchased for cruises of 5 nights or longer.
You're entitled to up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day, per package. After which, any drinks will be charged at full price with a 20% discount. All non-alcoholic drinks included in the package are unlimited.
Only one drink may be ordered per package at any one time at a minimum of 15-minute intervals.
If you have purchased a Drinks Package prior to your cruise, your cruise card will have a sticker on it to indicate to our crew which Drinks Package you have chosen. Simply use your cruise card each time you order a drink covered by your chosen Drinks Package, and it’s all taken care of. If you buy a Drinks Package once on board, you will receive the sticker at the time of purchase.
Water, teas and coffees are available on board free of charge. However, for canned, still or sparkling water, or specialist teas and coffees such as Costa Coffee or Teapigs, you’ll need to either purchase a Drinks Package or pay as you go.
Drinks Packages are currently only available on cruises of 5 nights or longer, and while some of our Short Breaks are 5 nights, most are 4 nights and under. But it’s still great value to pay as you go.
A guest aged 17 years old or under will receive a complimentary Refresh drinks package when a qualifying adult in the same cabin has purchased a Classic or Deluxe drinks package. *
Only one guest under 17 years old will receive a complimentary Refresh drinks package for each adult who has purchased a Classic or Deluxe package.
* Please note, if the second guest on your booking is aged 17 or under, they will then be charged for the Classic drinks package but receive the Refresh drinks package once onboard.
Yes, our Refresh drinks package that has an incredible selection of soft drinks can be purchased and enjoyed by everyone.
Yes, our Captain's Collection and Commodore's Collection wine packages are still available to purchase via the Customer Contact Centre or on board.
