Visit Vietnam’s central coast and choose from a trio of exciting destinations to explore. The cities of Hoi An, Da Nang and Hue are all within reach of the port, and each offers something different.
Da Nang is one of the most progressive cities in the country and boasts one of the region’s most beautiful beach areas too. Hoi An, an ancient trading town, is a little more traditional. Head here to wander around local shops and art galleries, and to find restaurants with mouth-watering menus.
With history dating back almost 3,000 years, Hue is a fascinating city and was Vietnam’s capital from 1802 to 1945. Be sure to visit the 19th-century Hue Citadel, which encompasses the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City, and royal palaces.
Closer to Chan May port, the peaceful town of Lang Co offers a six mile-long, white-sand beach. The restaurants here serve delicious fresh seafood, which is well paired with a local beer.
