Fynish monument, a folly built in 1782 on Fynish Hill near the town of Alness in Easter Ross, Scotland. The design has an Indian style due to its originator, Sir Hector Munro, having served as a general in India. It is supposed to imitate a gate in Madras, now Chennai.
