Back in Akureyri, explore the peaceful and colourful botanical gardens – one of the most northern examples in the world. Admire exotic plants and flowers from around the globe, as well as native species, and perhaps buy yourself a drink at the café.
Finally, a panoramic drive takes you through the city. Your guide will point out the most famous landmarks and explain the different architectural styles that nod to the local history of trading, before you arrive back at your ship.
