This action-packed canyoning experience will take you into the Vizzavona Mountains, in the heart of Corsica. As you head into the spellbinding beauty of this rugged region, you’ll pass through the administrative city of Bastia and the historical capital of Corsica, Corte.
As you delve into the stunning Corsican scenery a gentle, winding road will lead you to the sleepy commune of Bocognano. This typical Corsican village, nestled in a forest of ash and chestnut trees, is famous for its annual agricultural fair – the Chestnut Fair.
Following your certified canyoning instructor into the stunning Richiusa Canyon, you’ll enter the spectacular terrain where the fun begins! You’ll slide down natural chutes carved into the rock, swim in the crystal-clear mountain water, jump into the rushing currents, abseil down sheer rock-faces, and much more. All the necessary gear and tuition will be provided, and no experience is needed.
