Time moves slowly in Corsica. So do the tortoises and turtles housed in A Cupulatta, a remarkable sanctuary for 150 species from around the world. Visit the two-acre natural site where they roam. It's dedicated to the study, breeding and protecting of land tortoises, marine turtles and terrapins and is the only one of its kind in Europe. There are recently added incubation rooms for newborns, and even a turtle souvenir shop. After your tour, shell out on a drink and snack at one of the seaside restaurants of Porticcio, or spend time relaxing on its fine beach.
