After a short walk from the pier to the Romsdalen Gondola station in the centre of Åndalsnes, you’ll jump on Norway's longest cable car. As you get whisked 1,679 metres up to the summit of Nesaksla mountain, the views are superb in this state-of-the-art electric cable car. When you reach the top you’ll step into Eggen Restaurant, which is right next door to the gondola station, and enjoy a tasty two-course lunch as you take in incredible panoramic views over beautiful Åndalsnes. After lunch, take the gondola back down, or stay on the mountaintop and enjoy the stunning views.
