Enjoy a wine tasting at a unique winery in a fairy-tale-like castle.
Enjoy the ride to the Queen's Tower, or Pyrgos Vasilissis, for a guided tour of estate and winery. As you walk through organic vineyards, beautiful gardens and fine horse stables, you’ll get an idea of Queen Amalia’s vision of modernising Greek agronomy. In the neo-Gothic Queen’s Tower, which was built for King Otto by Queen Amalia in 1854, you’ll wander through the elaborate gilded rooms. Afterwards, sample some of the estate’s delicious wines at a tasting with a selection of homemade, traditional Greek nibbles, including a tasty spinach or feta cheese pie.
