Here you’ll board the M/S Thor, a characterful vessel that’s been sailing the local waters for over 100 years. Gaze out at the natural wonders identified by your captain and enjoy fascinating stories about Vikings as you glide through the Baltic Sea.

At Sanctuary Cliffs, slip on your walking boots and head off with your guide for a hike along the rocky coastal path. This beautiful spot has inspired many artists and is unsurprisingly considered one of Denmark’s most important landmarks. Pause for a refreshing drink at a café along the way and, from the terrace, marvel at the view to Christiansø Island.

Back in Gudhjem, enjoy a little free time to spend as you like. Wander the narrow cobbled streets, shop for artisanal souvenirs such as pottery and handmade glass, or perhaps try a taste of smoked herring.
