At the crossroads of Europe and Africa, the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, Ceuta opens the door onto Morocco. After passing the frontier, you will already see the differences from one place to another.
Tetouan is picturesquely situated on the nothern slopes of the Djebel Dersa mountain and overhangs the fertile and green orchard filled valley of the Oued Martil. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a panoramic drive through the modern part of the town until you reach the Moulay El Medhi Square. From here you’ll have the opportunity to visit the labyrinth of alleyways of the Médina. Due to its relatively small size, it offers visitors a chance to explore without getting hopelessly lost. There are 3 distinct sections of the Médina, the Andalucian, Jewish, and Berber sections, which now form a part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Stop at a local restaurant to enjoy Moroccan mint tea and pastries as a dancer and musician entertain you with a traditional performance.
Finally, journey back to Ceuta and your ship by the highway.
