Enjoy the scenic sights of the island, on your journey to the picturesque village Ponta do Sol, whose beautiful pebble beach is protected by a small cove. Visit the striking 15th-century Nossa Senhora da Luz Church, and walk past the John dos Passos Cultural Centre, a dynamic complex with an auditorium, library and exhibition rooms. Then stop at a local restaurant for a light snack, with beer or wine, before some free time to soak up the amazing landscape, stunning views and an unforgettable Madeiran sunset! Afterwards, return to Funchal via the motorway, through the island’s extensive network of tunnels.
