The northwest corner of Spain is characterised by its rías, a series of fjord-like estuaries along the coastline. Visit the charming village of Pontedeume, founded in 1270 and home to the 14th-century Tower of Andrade. Admire panoramic views over the Betanzos estuary en route to Bergondo, where you’ll enjoy a selection of Galician tapas and wine. Then it's on through beautiful Sada, a typical fishing village, towards the Porto de Santa Cruz, with its island castle built in the 16th century.
