Upon arrival in the Roman fortified city of Lugo, enjoy a panoramic drive around its extremely well-preserved Roman wall, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, before starting a guided walk around the Old Quarter.
Walk along the pedestrian path on top of the wall, which is the only Roman wall in the world to have kept its entire perimeter intact. Visit the interesting Provincial Museum located in the medieval Convent of San Francisco and admire the beautiful Cathedral, dating back to 1129.
Once at the bustling Plaza Mayor enjoy some free time to try some local delicacies at any of the many tapas bars in town or take a browse through the shops.
