Escape to an idyllic island where cars are banned and spend a day doing as much or as little as you like.
Hop on the ferry and pass by the tiny islands of Herm, Jethou and Brecqhou before you reach Sark – the ‘crown jewel of the Channel Islands’. Allow the ‘toast-rack’ (a tractor-drawn cart) to take you up the steep hill into town and get your bearings with the help of a local guide and a map. Then, you’re free to explore at your own pace.
Find quiet corners and secluded coves to relax in. Soak up breathtaking clifftop views and walk the soul-stirring La Coupée causeway which joins Big and Little Sark. Buy yourself a ticket to the Sark Museum to find out about life under German occupation and head to The Avenue to browse for souvenirs and treat yourself to lunch.
