Get under the skin of Gibraltar with an exploration of the Rock, both inside and out.
Begin by visiting Europa Point, the most southernly point of the continent. Here you can admire the elegant 19th century Trinity Lighthouse, which looks across to the coast of North Africa.
Meet the infamous ‘Rock Apes’ (they’re actually barbary macaque monkeys) at their ‘Den’ on the Rock, then follow in the footsteps of military leaders as your guide leads you through the fortress beneath the surface. During World War II, the intricate network of tunnels housed a hospital, power station and accommodation for 10,000 people. On a clear day you’ll have spectacular views of mainland Spain from Jock’s Balcony.
Once you’re back above ground, choose whether you’d like to return to your ship or be dropped off at Main Street to do some duty-free shopping.
