Head to the nearby Grande Rio samba school warehouse for a guided tour of this culturally important feature of Carnival. You’ll learn all about the history of samba and the elaborate Carnival parades, and see where all the magic happens. Enjoy a chance to play a part and try on some of the actual costumes and pose for photos. Then dive into the world of samba in a mixed percussion and dance workshop featuring afro and samba themes, kicked off with a delicious caipirinha cocktail. Afterwards, attend a caipirinha workshop and learn to make Brazil’s iconic national cocktail.
