Then delve into the rich culture and traditions of Maison de Kassaverie. Centuries ago the island’s women drew inspiration from the Amerindians, the first inhabitants of Guadeloupe, to cook cassava in all its forms. Your hostess will unveil those culinary secrets and explain how pancakes, flour and the famous moussache (secret creole ingredient) are made from cassava root. Then sample delicious patties with traditional cod and coconut ham.
