Relax and enjoy the panoramic drive to Ballstad, one of the largest and most modern fishing villages in the Lofoten Islands. Marvel at the striking area, where 1,000 residents live in colourful wooden houses perched on the edge of the water, back dropped by towering emerald mountains.
At Haukland Beach, where white sands are lapped by clear turquoise waters and flanked by green hills, you might think you’ve stumbled onto a Caribbean island. Resist the urge to take a dip though, because the Norwegian Sea is far from a welcoming temperature.
Before returning to your ship, stop for snaps at the Hagskarveien viewpoint. From here, the mountain and coastal views are spectacular.
