Revel in the fabulous scenes of Snowdonia and the Welsh countryside on this panoramic journey.
Sit back and soak up the views as you travel through Anglesey and cross the Menai Strait, en route to Caernarfon’s magnificent castle. You’ll make a photo stop here, at this once impregnable castle, which dates back to 1283. It’s also where Prince Charles was crowned Prince of Wales in 1969.
After making your way inland, towards the magnificent landscapes of the Snowdonia National Park, you’ll pass through some of the most amazing scenery in Wales.
Traveling deep into the Park, you’ll make a photo stop at Llanberis, which nestles on the edge of the Llyn Padarn Lake. Then you’ll take the incredible Llanberis Pass that skirts the base of Snowdon, Britain’s highest peak south of the Scottish Highlands, at 3,560 feet.
Afterwards, you’ll drive through the small mountain village of Capel Curig, before heading north-west along the picturesque A5 Nant Ffrancon Pass back to Holyhead.
