Departing from the Hellesylt pier, cruise through the picturesque fjord to Geiranger, where you’ll have three hours of free time to explore the idyllic village. The town has a rich and colourful history, and its atmospheric centre boasts the old quay area, traditional boathouses and plenty of eateries – do try the decadent, handcrafted chocolates. Just across the river lies the impressive Storfossen Waterfall, where you can climb the stairway, which runs the entire length of the falls. And of course you’ll have access to all the natural wonders that surround the village.
