Embark on a thrilling RIB ride, haul in a catch of giant king crabs and watch as the meat is prepared in a Sami lavvu.
Don the provided waterproof gear, hop on your RIB and speed off to Sarnesfjord. In this picturesque setting, where verdant hills and craggy cliffs emerge from the shimmering water, your Captain will pull up a catch of Norwegian king crab. The monstrous crustaceans can measure up to 6.5 feet between claws, and yours will likely weigh 6.5 – 15.5 pounds.
Pose for photos with the enormous creatures, then head to a nearby Sami camp. Step inside a traditional luvvu tent, take a seat on a reindeer skin and watch as the crabs are cooked on an open fire. Afterwards, tuck into the distinctively sweet meat along with bread and hot coffee.
