Head to the popular resort of Costa Teguise on the island’s beautiful east coast and join a Sea Trek, which enables you to breathe easily underwater without the need for cumbersome dive gear. After a full briefing from your guide, you’ll enter the Atlantic from the beach and walk on the ocean floor in near weightlessness.
Keep your eyes peeled for vibrant damselfish, brightly coloured wrasse, gangly spider crabs and wide-eyed flounders as you spend 30 minutes roaming the aqua realm.
