Le Havre, France

Back in 1510 a Venetian Monk, Bernardo came up with the idea of distilling a mixture of regional plants and spices which later led to Alexandre le Grand creating the famous Benedictine liquor in 1863. Today one of the main highlights of Fecamp is the Benedictine Distillery housed in a unique building designed in a mixture of neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance styles.
Enjoy a guided tour of the distillery and cellars followed by the opportunity to sample some of the different liquors and visit the gift shop.
Continue to the picturesque town of Etretat, whose grand high cliffs and crashing waves are unforgettable whatever the season. Boasting elegant timber-framed houses, a medieval church and a charming wooden covered marketplace housing typical shops; it is hardly surprising that the town has inspired many writers, artists and film directors.
After a brief introduction to the town, you’ll have free time to explore independently. Perhaps take a stroll along the seafront promenade to view the magnificent cliffs or browse the gift shops for that all important souvenir of your visit.
