Sit back and relax, as you embark on a scenic drive to the Mirador de la Concepcion on the outskirts of Santa Cruz de la Palma. Marvel at the magnificent views over the town and north coast of the island before heading to on the Santuario Virgen de Las Nieves, located in the highest part of the town and one of the most popular shrines in the capital. Inside the small whitewashed church you’ll find the island's most sacred icon, the Virgin Mary of the Snows, the patron saint of the island. Enjoy a soft drink refreshment before continuing your panoramic tour.
You’ll head to the Barco de la Virgen in the main town of Santa Cruz de la Palma, a replica of Columbus’ Santa Maria. Take a guided stroll to discover the streets and squares including Plaza Alameda, Plaza San Francisco, and Placeta Borrero. Admire the attractive two-storey Renaissance-style Town Hall and the 17th century church Iglesia del Salvador before boarding the bus to return to your ship.
