Enjoy a scenic drive to the lovely town of Lucca, where you’ll enjoy around 2 hours to explore independently. Upon arrival you’ll see the Renaissance walls, one of Lucca’s most significant monuments which surround the city with almost 2 miles of ancient ramparts.
Take a stroll to the heart of Lucca and you’ll view the Romanesque-style Duomo with its asymmetrical façade. Through the maze of shadowed streets, you’ll see beautiful buildings along with typical pastel-washed houses. Lucca has many wonderful little shops and is an ideal place to pick up some of the local wine, oils and other specialities of the region. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants to choose from if you wish to purchase some lunch or simply relax and watch the world go by.
