From the coach park, a little train will take you to the main historical centre, where you’ll commence your discovery of this tiny medieval village. Beginning at Piazza della Repubblica, you’ll see the main highlights including 2 mansions Pavesi and Bocconi and the great bell tower, at 36 metres high, this was once a central part of the impressive fortress called Cacciaguerra (War Fighter). The adjacent Piazza del Duomo is dominated by the majestic marble facade of the Cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, the Virgin Mary.
Keen photographers are sure to love exploring the hidden corners, with each twist and turn revealing another photo opportunity.
During your visit, you’ll stop at a local venue to taste some of the local delicacies and before you leave, be treated to a farewell song.
