Starting in the museum area, your guided walk will take you into the historical heart of the city – le Panier – home to some of the city’s most magnificent architecture. In between treasures such as Notre Dame de la Major, St Laurent church and Vieille Charité, the ancient hospital, you’ll also hit a variety of shops filled with local delicacies to sample. Tasty treats include tapenade (olive paste), Rosé wine, chocolate made with olive oil, and Marseille’s famous navette biscuit. At the end of your walk, raise a glass of Pastis, while overlooking beautiful Notre Dame de la Garde.
