Central Park brings a breath of fresh air to New York’s urban surroundings. What started out as a rocky and desolate northern fringe rapidly expanded into one of New York’s most famous and beloved parks.
Your walking tour will take you through the main hub of the park located in the southern half. As you meander through the winding pedestrian pathways, your guide will explain the history and design of the park and highlight its attractions. A short stop will also be made at the park’s landmark Loeb Boathouse Express Café. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase a drink if you wish or simply admire the lovely surroundings.
Afterwards, your return drive will take you around the outskirts of the northern half of Central Park. A short photo stop will be made at a lovely secluded oasis, the Conservatory Garden, before heading back to the pier.
