Lace up your boots and, from the heart of the village, set off for the forest path. Enjoy being surrounded by peaceful countryside and breathe in the pure mountain air as you follow your guide up the steady incline of the firm trail.
The ground becomes more uneven as you approach the highest part of your hike where suddenly you’ll emerge onto the ridge that is your destination. From this viewpoint, almost 1,300 feet above sea level, you’ll enjoy jaw-dropping vistas over Olden, the shimmering waters of the fjord and the emerald hillsides that rise into craggy mountains.
Spend some free time photographing the scene and resting your legs before you begin the descent back down to the village.
