Enjoy the scenic drive to Nordfjordeid, with a short ride through the city sights, including Operahouse Nordfjord. At the Sagastad Viking Center dazzling audio/visual displays will introduce you to Viking heritage, with tales of battles, legends of epic sea voyages and stories of mystical rituals. But the star of the show is the 30-metre Myklebust ship, an authentic replica based on the remains of one of the largest Viking ships ever unearthed from a Viking king’s grave. You’ll also visit the Norwegian Fjord Horse Centre to meet the unique horses and learn how this breed has remained pure for over 2,000 years.
