Travel back to the 14th century BC and marvel at the amazing Nuraghe La Prisgonia site, a village and complex Tholos – or beehive-style dome construction – which is highly unusual for the Gallura region. Find out about the historic significance of the well; at seven metres deep and still functioning today, it previously held many fine ceramics suggestive of ritualistic practice. Excavation continues with the village huts, so tread carefully as you move around the rough terrain of this fascinating site.

Head to pretty Porto Cervo, the ‘capital’ of Costa Smeralda and a billionaires’ playground.  This tiny coastal resort stands at the southern and eastern shore of the natural port and boasts some of the most expensive property prices in Europe.
