Feel the sea breeze on your skin as you drive along the seaside road, passing Matosinhos beach, towards the mouth of the Douro River. Drive into the heart of the city and hop out for a gentle stroll to the baroque Clérigos Tower, one of many landmarks you’ll have the chance to admire on this scenic experience as well as Batalha Square, Santa Catarina Street and the famous, neoclassical Majestic Café.

As you cruise around town, pause to marvel at the tiled São Bento Train Station and the 12th-century cathedral. Traverse one of the bridges to the neighbouring city and see Vila Nova de Gaia the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, and head to the beautiful Monastery of Serra do Pilar. Perched high on an outcrop, it’s the perfect place to soak up views across the river and Oporto, especially while sampling port wine and a local snack.
