Cruise on a pontoon boat for a chance to discover manatees, a wide variety of coastal birds and playful dolphins on a magical journey through Cocoa Beach's Thousand Islands in the Banana River Lagoon.
The islands are a flood tide delta deposit formed by a breach in the barrier island during a strong storm surge, creating a maze of narrow trails and canals through the natural mangrove islands and hidden hammocks (stands of trees).
With luck, you’ll spot reddish egret, wood stork, brown and white pelican, bald eagle, nesting osprey, great blue herons and much more.
