Heritage Jewels of Georgetown

Visit one of the world’s longest Reclining Buddhas in the Thai Buddhist Temple and stop into the ornate Burmese Buddhist Temple nearby. Stroll through the interesting galleries of the Penang Malay Gallery Museum, and wander at the dazzling carvings adorning Khoo Kongsi, one of the most beautiful Chinese Clan houses ever built outside China. Then walk along the narrow wooden platforms of a Chinese Clan Jetty to get a feel for the humble beginnings of the Chinese immigrants.
