Along the way take in stunning views of the Le Pouce and Pieter Both mountain ranges, and the northern Mauritius islands. Enjoy an interior visit, if there’s availability, to Chateau de Villebague and Mauricia Gardens, and explore the ruins of an 18th-century mill at Le Mount Sugar Mill. Then ride through historic Pamplemousses, past Saint-François Presbyterian Church, the old cemetery and slave pool, and stop for snacks and drinks at Le Fangourin Restaurant on L’Aventure du Sucre
