Caves of Drach

Embark on a magical experience below the surface of Mallorca, in the dramatic natural wonderland of Drach Caves.

After departing from the port, you’ll visit one of Montuiri’s famous pearl factories and witness their captivating processes for manufacturing fine pearl jewellery. 

You’ll then make your way to Porto Cristo and the remarkable Caves of Drach. Descending to a depth of 25 metres below the surface, you’ll encounter cathedral-like halls filled with dramatically illuminated stalactites and stalagmites. As well as the magnificent natural formations, you’ll also see one of the world’s largest underground lakes – Lake Martel. 

While wondering at the surrounding fantastic structures, you can settle into a seat in a large, natural concert hall and enjoy a short, enchanting classical concert performed by musicians gliding past in boats.

After your subterranean adventure, you’ll have some free time in the lively picturesque fishing village of Porto Cristo. Browse the shops, stroll along the waterfront, or savour a snack in a café and simply watch the world go by, with a coffee in hand.
