Enjoy a showstopping castle from a bygone age and an enchanting walk through medieval Gdańsk.
With its glowing red walls, towering roofs and riverside position, Malbork Castle is once seen, never forgotten. Step through the gate of the largest brick-built Gothic castle in the world and make some fascinating discoveries. Walk in the footsteps of Polish kings and German emperors. Marvel at the grand interiors with their massive fireplaces and vaulted ceilings. Admire artefacts from times gone by – armoury, sculpture, ceramics and Baltic amber.
A delicious lunch will be served at a local restaurant over looking the Vistula River, before moving on to Gdańsk. Get a sense of city life as you take in the medieval highlights with your guide – the magnificent Green Gate, the fine statues of Artus Court, Neptune’s Fountain and the impressive St Mary’s Church. You’ll pass by Solidarity Square and Sopot to round off your day.
