Setting off from the pier, your drive will pass by Fisherman’s Wharf, home to the world-famous Pier 39, and on towards the Golden Gate Bridge. As you cross the most famous bridge west of the Mississippi, take in views of the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay to your right. After crossing the bridge, enjoy spectacular views of the city skyline and Alcatraz from the North Vista point, where you’ll have a brief photo stop.
Your drive will then continue through San Francisco to discover more of the city by night. The Civic Center dazzles with its beautifully lit flags and fountains adorning its classical buildings and 2 vast plazas. Home to the opera, symphony, and the ornate City Hall, it is the cultural heart of the city. Continue your leisurely drive through the city to Union Square, the vibrant centre of downtown.
To round off your tour, you’ll take a drive across the Bay Bridge to Treasure Island to admire a fabulous view of the city skyline at night, before returning to your ship.
