Enjoy the sights of the city as you pass through San Francisco. Crossing the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge, you’ll have wonderful views of the bay and surrounding areas.
After your drive, you’ll arrive at Muir Woods National Park, where you’ll have around 1½ hours to explore at your own leisure. Admire the beauty of one of the few remaining groves of virgin coastal Redwoods and take the nature trail that leads you into the heart of the cathedral-like grove of trees. Take a moment to enjoy the serenity of this majestic setting, whilst learning the fascinating history of the coastal Redwoods. Be sure to take your camera to capture some wonderful shots of these towering trees. During your visit, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore one of the Visitor’s Centres or meander along the surrounding trails.
On the return journey, a short photo stop will be made at the Marin Headlands for a panoramic view from the Northwest side of the Golden Gate Bridge.
