Covering an area of 142 square miles, the Krka National Park was established to protect the middle and lower stretches of the River Krka. The river begins its journey inside a canyon and spills over into spectacular waterfalls, forming a series of lakes and rapids.

Visit the most impressive part of the Park, Skradinski Buk. This great clear, natural pool boasts the biggest waterfall in the Park. From a height of 147 feet, the impressive waterfall cascades down 17 steps and is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe.

Above the falls, a large plateau offers spectacular panoramic views and wonderful photo opportunities and you will be able to view a small ethnological exhibition, and an old grinding mill that is still in operation today. During your free time at Skradinski Buk, explore the area further via one of the walking trails, or if the weather is on your side you may choose to take a swim in the refreshing waters.

Complete your tour with a pleasant 20 minute scenic boat ride, taking you along the Krka River from Skardinski Buk to the small town of Skradin.
