Skagen by Bike

Do as the ‘Skagbo’s’ - Hop on your bike and cycle through the picturesque town of Skagen with yellow painted houses, white fences and red roofs. Head out into the unique landscape towards Grenen viewpoint, which is located on a peninsula with only a few kilometres of land between the Baltic Sea and the North Sea.

Arriving at the Skagen Gren viewpoint, dismount your bike and walk through the dunes to the very top of Denmark. Marvel at the scenery as you stand at the uttermost point of the whole European continent and the point where the seas of North Sea and Baltic Sea meet.

At the top of the continent, continue cycling to the Buried Church. The ruins of the old church have fallen prey to the drifting dunes and now only the original spire remains standing as the dunes grow bigger and bigger. Ride back to Skagen through the old town before returning to the pier.
