Visit the ruins of Wingfield Estate – the first sugar estate in the British West Indies and once owned by a forefather of US President, Thomas Jefferson. Sitting on the edge of a rainforest, if offers magnificent views of the Caribbean. Then head into this unspoilt rainforest and explore with your guide. It’s filled with ginger lilies and medicinal plants, humming-birds, and butterflies, and with any luck you’ll see the green vervet monkeys.
