Glide gently into the fishing village of Gros Islet. This 44-acre national park is connected to St Lucia by a causeway and is home to forts, ruins and walking trails offering magnificent views.
If you’ve been bitten by the kayaking bug, you can continue your water-based exploration of the island. Or if you prefer, set off through the park on foot, identifying the various ruins and local flora and fauna.
