Hop aboard a sleek catamaran and sail the beautiful south coast of St Vincent to explore the towering, island pinnacle of Fort Duvernette.
Your amazing scenic journey will begin just off Cane Garden Point, as the wind fills your sails. You’ll pass a host of majestic homes and see the magical islands of Mustique and Bequia. Young Island will make a stunning backdrop as you make your way past the bay’s bobbing yachts.
As you approach Fort Duvernette you’ll have the chance to slip overboard and swim through the crystal-clear water to the island fort. Alternatively, you can opt to stay dry and ride ashore in a smaller boat.
If you are feeling energetic when you get ashore, you can climb the 255 steps all the way to the top of the fort. The 365-degree views of the coast are magnificent and you’ll be able to see the remains of the French battery, which once guarded the bay.
Back on board, your captain will be waiting to offer you some light refreshments as you make your way back to the ship.
